Mercy (2020)

The creator of all universe,

Have mercy on me and the world you created.

Forgive me.

Everywhere I look, I see grief. My eyes don’t see the good. Lift the veil to save me from this gloom.

What have ı fallen into? What has been my struggle?

Have mercy and take me from these people, or “forgive me” live you forgave them! Forgive me so that ı don’t see all these problems despite my seeing eyes… So that I don’t see the hurtful words, like they do, despite my hearing ears…

Have mercy and kill me so that I won’t give happiness to those who criticize my word and watching me while I have got hurt.

Have mercy and let it kiss me. Let me be a prince or princess. Like all those people who see themselves as beautiful and superior… Free me from my hunchback. Let me stop being meyself and let me be like them.

Have mercy and let me fall in love too… Let me wrap myself around the neck of my lover like doves and pigeons… Let people nourish while they watch the fruit of our love and our product...

Have mercy and let my milk leak to your feet… Let no belief be halal to me or me or your other servants. Neither I nor your servants could know the value of beliefs. It is not possible to find appreciation in this merciless age…

Have mercy and deplete your natural resources. Don’t let innocent ants be crushed for a piece of gold, a rock, or some fossils.

Have mercy to embarrass me… For being one of your servants who hunt wildlife for pleasure. Embarrass me for the creatures I delightfully savage and consume it with a big Show. For exhbiting their lifeless bodies…

Have mercy and don’t let other people love me. Don’t let them disrupt my net, the connection I have with myself… Let them love the spider. Forgive my narrow mind, my fear and judgement towards people…

Have mercy and let the shahmaran be alive. With its other half dead on its lap… Forgive your servants who are more monstrous than those they call “monsters”…

Have mercy on your birds nets anywehere. Destroy everything so that your creatures no longer need a home. Let the word have nothing to be destroyed.

Have mercy and forgive your flowers that are to dry, forgive the raims that let them go without water, and forgive the spiders that walk around them…

Have mercy and make me nothing… Let me be one on the inside and out.

Forgive me and my beloved ones…
